What stays on your phone
Everything that makes up a job record is kept locally and nowhere else:
- The Before and After photographs you take.
- The job name you type and the job's local state.
- The alignment features the app measures to line the two photos up.
- The finished proof files you export or share.
They stay until you delete the job, use Delete local data in Settings, or delete the app.
What leaves your phone
Three things, and none of them is a photograph:
- Apple receives and returns StoreKit product details, introductory-offer eligibility, and purchase, renewal, expiration, refund, and restore data.
- RevenueCat receives an anonymous App User ID, product identifiers, Apple transaction data, and entitlement state, so plans load, access is recognized, and purchases can be restored after a reinstall.
- PostHog receives a fixed list of named events describing how the app itself is used - that the app started, that a guide step was seen, that the paywall was shown, that a purchase started or finished, that a record was requested or produced, that history was opened. Each event carries an anonymous identifier and, for the guide steps only, which step it was.
The anonymous identifiers are not your name, your email, or your Apple Account.
What we never send
- Your photographs, thumbnails, alignment features, job names, proof files, or anything you share.
- Your Apple Account email or name, payment-card details, contacts, or advertising identifier.
- Your location. The app asks for no location permission, and location lookup from your network address is switched off both in the app and on the analytics project, which is set to discard client IP data.
- Screen recordings or session replays. Nothing records what is on your screen.
Deleting your data
Settings includes Delete local data, which empties every job, every photograph, and the app's local state on that device. It cannot delete Apple's transaction records, which Apple keeps under its own policy.

Children
Jobsite Proof Camera is a tool for tradespeople and is not directed to children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it.
